How to spell...

Just a quick hello while I am between feeding and I know it's been awhile since the last post! Life is busy with 3 kids!

One day a few weeks back Hannah was quietly doing something on the floor, while I was probably feeding. All of a sudden she says, "Is this how you spell Wyatt?" I looked at her and then at the floor. She had spelled WIUIT on the floor with feathers how it sounded to her. Now, mind you she is a Kindergartner and we have barely begun talking about how letters make different sounds. At this point (when she made this) we had not learned to spell any words or read any blends. Yeah, I think she pretty much doesn't need me, she will be teaching herself school! She was so proud of her accomplishment (phonetically spelling his name) that we had to take a few pics and show them to you !
